The Emoji Series attempts to conquer one of the most challenging subjects of any artist - the human hand. This series expresses powerful, significant ideas in one instantly identifiable image.
‘Passing Through’ is an exploration of the delicate balance between control and vulnerability that defines our existence. We often feel empowered to shape our own destinies, but life has a way of reminding us of its inherent unpredictability. This work invites the viewer to reflect on those pivotal moments when we are faced with circumstances that challenge our sense of agency. The journey toward acceptance and understanding is profoundly personal, and the answers we seek are as varied as the myriad experiences that shape us. Through this piece, I aim to evoke contemplation on the fragility of life and the resilience of the human spirit as we pass through its transient seasons.
