The is a portrait of the Rambam, or Maimonides, a medievil thinker and physician from Cordoba, Spain. His most famous work, Guide to the Perplexed, is still popular today.
The work is based off of the oldest etching available which he endorsed with his unique signature. The "Mem" initial medallion he is wearing is replicates his unique handwriting.

Damaged Artwork
If you notice any serious damage to the outside of the package please do not sign for the delivery and contact us immediately. To avoid accidentally damaging your edition, for example if a work is unframed, leave all unpacking and handling of the artwork to a trusted professional framer or art handler.If you notice damage upon unpacking your edition, contact us within 48 hours of receiving the artwork with digital images of the damage. If we find that the edition was damaged in transit, after receiving the return we will try to replace the edition. In the event that we are unable to replace the edition we will arrange a refund.
