About linocuts:
Lino printing or linoleum art is a printmaking technique, (much like woodcut) in which a relief is carved into the surface.  The linoleum sheet is inked with a roller then impressed onto paper. The actual printing of this piece was done by hand.  Handwork creates a unique result, where no two are alike.
